Jeremy Sanders is married to his beautiful wife Erika, the parents of 7 kids and they live on a small farm just outside of Tulsa. He has served for 20 years on a suburban career fire department in central Oklahoma where he currently holds the rank of Captain. In that station officer role, Jeremy has gotten the opportunity to gain experience first-hand how much hard work and dedication it takes to completely rebuild a broken firehouse culture. Now after almost 5 years at his current station, Jeremy and his crew are starting to see the rewards of all that challenging work. In 2020 Jeremy created Crew 1st Culture and the Crew 1st Culture Podcast in which he shares the importance of the pursuit of daily personal growth. This daily growth has helped him to not only become a better firefighter and officer but also a better dad and husband at home. The podcast now has reached over 80,000 downloads in 62 countries. In 2021 he began to speak and teach publicly at venues such as Honor the Fallen Fire Conference – OKC, Revolutionary Fire Tactics at the Lake – Missouri, Mid-America FOOLS Conference – OKC, SAFRE Conference – Raleigh NC, Pittsburg FD – Kansas, & Edmond FD – Oklahoma. His lectures/classes focus on Character, Leadership, Mentoring, Personal Growth, & Firehouse Culture. He has also instructed Forcible Entry & Engine Operations Hands on Training at multiple locations in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, & Missouri working with instructors such as Josh Pearcy (405 Training Solutions OKC), Steve Robertson (Stretching For Success), & Justin Mann (Wood’s Forcible Entry).
