Robert James (RJ) is a 18 year veteran of the fire service. He started as a volunteer firefighter
with the Cromwell Volunteer Fire Department in Cromwell, Connecticut. Robert relocated to
Maryland and joined the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, the second busiest fire station in
Montgomery County. He has received numerous citations and awards from the Rockville
Volunteer Fire Department the state of Maryland, the State Senates Office, and Congress. He is
currently employed as a firefighter by the Frederick County Fire Rescue Division in Frederick
Maryland. There he is assigned to Rescue Squad 3 in the city, and a member of the Special
Operations Command. RJ is a certified instructor and has traveled all over the country teaching
on local, state and national platforms. Robert has published articles in worldwide magazines as well as written many of articles for online training programs and fire department training groups and sites.
